$20,000 to Sleep in a Bath

Poker players are renowned for coming up with crazy prop bets but a recent wager involving Vegas pro Nick DiVella could be one of the most outlandish.

Following in the footsteps of similar feats such as Andrew Robl and Jay Kwik's 2008 bet which required the latter to live in a bathroom inside the Bellagio for 25 days, DiVella will be sitting in an empty bath for six days straight.

Informing the community via Twitter a few days ago, the terms of the bet have slowly emerged and after some debate it seems that DiVella will even have to work out a way to go to the toilet in the bath.

The likelihood of DiVella successfully completing the bet are currently one of the hot topics in forums across the poker community with many suggesting it could be deceptively difficult.

DiVella is risking $4,000 of his own money to take part in the challenge and if he manages to live inside the bathtub for six days he’ll win $20,000 from his friend.

At present the start date for the bet has been set at September 15 and with webcam provisions being put in place to verify the bet it’s likely a live stream will be available.
