Full Tilt Poker has announced details of its latest FTOPS festival later this month and there are 18 million reasons to have a go.
A total of 30 events encompassing all manner of tournament types have been scheduled including shoot-out, knock-out, turbo and super turbo events. Every competition is set to be hosted by a Full Tilt Poker pro. The action gets under way on 23rd April with over $1m to be won in the opening weekend. Highlights of the opening few days include the $216 buy-in hold'em event on the opening Friday at 7.15pm UK time with $750,000 guaranteed. A further $300,000 is guaranteed in the super turbo six-max hold'em event that starts four hours later.Top billing once again goes to the $600 buy-in Main Event at 11pm UK time on Sunday 2nd May where a whopping $3m is up for grabs. Running it a close second though is the $2,000+$100 buy-in, two-day event on Saturday 1st May at 7pm UK time. Players will get 6,000 chips and a 30-minute clock with the chance to take their share of a $2m prize pool. The full schedule can be seen here. FTOPS XVI also features a tournament leaderboard challenge with the overall top finisher set to win a custom-made avatar. In addition, the winner will receive their buy-ins for every event at FTOPS XVII with the exception of the two-day competition.Satellites are currently running for all FTOPS events at Full Tilt Poker
