Nicht nur Live wurde gestern gepokert was das Zeug hält, auch online auf den höchsten Tischen bei Full Tilt gab es endlich wieder ein bischen Action.
Der Great Dane erwischte einen recht durchwachsenen Tag. Zuerst lief für Gus ja alles nach Plan. Gegen Brian Hastings erwischte er die Sonnenseite der Varianz und knöpfte diesem rund 350,000 Dollar beim Pot Limit Omaha ab. Das wäre ja eigentlich ein schöner Erfolg, wenn sich Gus dannach nicht mit Tom "Durrr" Dwan eingelassen hätte, doch er tat es leider. Natürlich spielten die beiden High Roller auch Pot Limit Omaha, was auch sonst. Doch diesmal gab es für Gus nicht viel zu holen und Durrr überrannte ihn richtiggehend in mehreren Sessions. Ungefähr 500,000 Dollar schnitt Durrr dem armen Gus aus dem Fleisch, der sich danach wohl sicher geärgert haben dürfte,dass er nach der guten Session gegen Hastings, nicht die PC abgedreht hat und stattdessen an den Pool gegangen ist. Doch auch Dwan schob einen Großteil seines Gewinnes gleich weiter, was wieder mal zeigt, dass sich die Pros auf den Nosebleed Limits das Geld im Grunde größtenteils nur hin und her schieben. Durrr gab rund 300,000 seiner gewonnen 500,000 Dollar an Patrik Antonius beim Mixed Game ab, der sich das Geld dann tatsächlich erstmals behalten konnte. Aber wahrscheinlich auch nicht für lange...
