Von 19. bis 25. Mai 2009 wird sich die deutsche Pokerwelt im Casino Esplanade versammeln, um die Hamburg Poker Masters zu spielen.
Ein Super Satellite und vier hochkarätige Events erwarten die Teilnehmer beim Hamburg Poker Masters. gestartet wird mit einem € 500 No Limit Hold’em Freezeout am 19. Mai. Am Mittwoch, den 20. Mai, folgen ein € 200 Pot Limit Omaha Rebuy Turnier und ein € 100 Ladies Event. Am Donnerstag haben die Spieler dann Chance sich beim € 150 Super Satellites mit Rebuys Tickets fürs Mainevent zu erspielen. Das Main Event wird von Freitag, den 22. Mai, bis Sonntag, den 24. Mai, mit zwei Starttagen gespielt. Die Teilnehmerzahlen sind täglich mit 100 beschränkt. Bei ausverkauftem Haus könnte es somit beim Main Event um insgesamt € 320.000 bei 200 Teilnehmern gehen. Sicher sind auch die Poker Pros wie Katja Thater, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Jan Peter Jachtmann, Dragan Galic, Jan von Halle und andere vertreten.Turnierdirektor Anestis Karasavvidis wird wie schon bei der Deutschen Pokermeisterschaft 2008 dafür sorgen, dass die Turniere reibungslos über die Bühne gehen.
