If Ivey wins 2 WSOP bracelet events in 2010 and 2011 then he stands to win $5m. If he doesn't then Lederer pockets the loot.
Who's got the better of the deal? Given his recent success in the smaller field side events I think Ivey's got the better of it. He's Phil Ivey FFS!!! |

There were a lot of fields with sizes of less than 200 last year.
Ivey certainly has the best of it. He has to win two small field events in a fringe game that he dominates, piece of piss. Lederer has the best side of this bet from an EV perspective but he's still going to lose. |

Probably the same as it would feel for me to make a £200 wager with you. It would certainly sting if I lost but I wouldn't starve to death.
They are just very rich men. Remember Howard Lederer is big boss man of the world's second largest online poker site and Ivey likely has a decent stake in FTP also. |
