Slowrolls: 6 of the Best (or Worst)

Slowrolls: 6 of the Best (or Worst)

If you've got it, don't flaunt it.

Shaun Deeb hit the headlines this week after subjecting Mike Matusow to a pretty sick slowroll during the first episode of Poker Night in America (see below).

Deeb is the latest in a long line of players to have dished one out, either by accident or design. Here are some of the best (or worst) that we've seen.

6. Deeb versus Matusow

The Mouth was understandably less than impressed with Deeb's performance in this hand.

5. Dealer Slowroll

Okay, this one isn't a traditional slowroll. The players behave perfectly but a fat fingered dealer raises a laugh.

4. James Bond in Casino Royale

007 may be the ultimate smoothie when it comes to wooing the ladies but he could do with brushing up his etiquette at the poker table as this infamous scene in Casino Royale shows.

3. Latvia Poker Series

We've no idea what the commentators are saying but let's face it, it doesn't matter. We can all see that Mr Kibalcics has the stone cold nuts and he takes an age to make the call.

2. Jack Ury

If we're still alive at 96 let alone alive and able to play in the World Series of Poker we'll be delighted. For that reason alone we'll forgive the late Jack Ury for this particularly impressive rubdown.

1. 2010 World Cup of Poker

You're dealt pocket aces in a tournament and a player before you moves all. It's not a satellite and you're not on the bubble so it's a standard call. Or so you'd think. The player representing Germany in the 2010 World Cup of Poker disagreed. Not only did he delay making the call, he asked for a time out to check with his team mates.
