133 Seconds With Gus Hansen

133 Seconds With Gus Hansen

Tuesday, 18 June 2013

We caught up with one of the most famous faces in poker, the Great Dane himself, Gus Hansen.

What’s your most treasured possession?

My family.

What’s the proudest moment of your career?

My Heads Up bracelet win at the London WSOPE.

What lessons has poker taught you about life?

That during hard times people’s true colours shine through, good and bad.

Who’s your poker hero?

I have none.

What's the strangest thing you’ve ever seen happen at the poker table?

I do think it is very strange that privileged poker players curse, yell and throw cards at the dealers because of some bad turn of events.

Do you believe in God?

I do NOT believe in any god. All gods seem to have a big problem with rational thinking, so I’ll stick with atheism.

What’s the shittest job you’ve ever had?

I’ve been gambling my entire adult life, so fortunately I have been spared shitty jobs. :-)

Can you tell us a joke?

Not in a joking mood. :-(

What's the biggest bluff you've ever made in life?

I never bluff. ;-)
